Dairy event went off without too many problems, this year was a great event unfortunately the last at Stoneleigh as the event moves to the NEC next year.

More billboards

The Royal Show used billboards to great effect this year by having location maps on them, these were really effective in helping the many visitors find their way around the site.

Next shows are Tillage 2009 and the Dairy Event, and then a quieter spell through the winter…

A break at last

Well it’s been a great summer season so far (that's the work not the weather). We have just returned from the Game Fair where we provided the graphics for the Sporting Shooter and Air Gun World magazines. Prior to that it was the Royal Show where we installed 5 billboards. We’re normally quiet in August but more work seems to be creeping upon us. But were not complaining…long may it continue!

Cereals 2009 - Vine Farm

Well May and June have been exceptional months with work ranging from the Metropole Hotel in Padstow buying a new banner and some teardrop flags to the Cereals event in Cambridgeshire where we printed and installed all the event signage and advertising.

In between times we have also been to the South West Grassland Event and the Beef Expo event in Malvern. Fortunately for the most part we have had great weather, a few days of rain but nothing to significant.

Killington marquees also had their new pickup sign written

Cafe Mylor had some new ecoflex signs, and it really is the best breakfast

Summer printing

great news the weather just keeps getting better, we are currently printing for the summer shows and we seem to be disappearing under a mountain of banners. Also this month we have supplied new ecoflex signs for Cafe Mylor near Falmouth, tear drop flags for Hotel Metropole in Padstow. I am hoping for a trip to the beach this weekend but rain is on the way, maybe go anyway.

The trouble with summer…

There is no trouble with summer it’s just work gets in the way. It’s been a difficult day with the sun shining outside and so much printing to be done, almost through it all now. Just finishing off the Agricultural Buildings show graphics and some extras for Farmers Weekly. Hopefully the sun will last through the weekend so we can enjoy it then!! Farmers Weekly

The agricultural Buildings Show is the next event in the calendar, it’s only 2 week away now and we are looking forward to it. This year held at Myerscough College in Lancashire it should prove to be a great show. We will be there in our usual supporting roll, helping to ensure the smooth running of the event and supplying any graphics required.

As we all try to recycle more, here at P2M we are offering a great service for all those old and tired roll up banners, don’t through them away, reuse them, we can supply and fit new graphics to most old roll ups at a fraction of the cost of buying a complete new unit.

So revamp that exhibition presence with a new graphic this year, give us a call to discuss your requirements.

Big thank you to Expowest

The Expowest event finished on Thursday and for us it was a great success, it was made especially enjoyable for the amount of free food and drink available, and a special mention is required for the sausages, beer and ice cream!! The visitor quality at the show was excellent, many showed great interest in the signage products, cafe banners, A frames and swing signs that were on the stand.

We hope all the visitors to the show had a safe journey home and we look forward to working with some of you in the future.

Expowest

Well despite the wind and the rain there was a great turnout at expowest, thanks to all the people who visited the stand and we hope to work with you in the future. Looking forward to another 2 days at the show…

It’s been a while

Well I’m painfully aware of the fact I haven’t blogged for a while, things are getting busy here with preparations for the summer, a few new events have been added to our calendar this year so we will be busier than ever.

Off to Expowest the catering show at the Royal Cornwall Showground tomorrow, we have a stand there to promote printing and advertising opportunities to the catering and hospitality industry.

Well must go now we have 6 x 8mtr x 3mtr banner frames to manufacture for one of the summer shows, I hope we get nice weather to put them up in….

Another great success

Well the Holstein show is all done, the weather held out any the organisers had a great show. We completed Farmer Guardians work in record time. No more shows now for a few weeks, with the exception of P2M exhibiting at the expowest catering exhibition at the showground Wadebridge on the 3-4-5 March.

We managed to get the 150 Royal Agricultural Society banners completed, print jobs currently include Farmers Weekly and Fusion Events posters and banners for both.

And on to the next show

We have spent this week preparing and printing for the Holstein Show, which takes place in Stoneleigh Warwickshire on Monday 16th February. For this event we will erect one billboard, various banners and some 4 sheet posters. The show organisers have also hired a number of A frames for use as directional signage within the show.

We hope this all goes well, after this show we will be into preparation for the summer season.

No snow…

The trouble with Costa del Cornwall is the snow doesn’t last long enough, so it’s back to printing. 150 double sided banners for the Royal Agricultural Society of England are running through the wide format printer, currently I think it is 100 down 50 to go.

I believe the Royal Agricultural Society of England have lots of snow to play in…

Where did January go?

Well it’s now February, we have managed to successful events in January, The France Show in Earl’s Court during the first week of January where P2M supplied graphics for the Archant Life Stand and built an in door petanque course. I also stayed for the duration of the show to assist the organisers. Overall the show was a great success.

Archant Life Stand                                                        Petanque Course in Earl's Court

Following this event we went to the LAMMA show in Newark, where P2M printed and erected all the branding required for the media partners Farmers Guardian. This involved billboards, banner frames, triangle frames and snap frames. Despite some challenging weather all was a huge success with the show continuing to grow beyond all expectations.

Next stop is Stoneleigh Park and the Holstein Show in February, printing for this should get underway this week, so long as we don’t spend too long playing in the snow…
